Maintaining a healthy water pump is easy: you need to make sure the engine coolant is in good condition and has the correct amount of antifreeze. In order to test the coolant in your engine, an Anti-freeze Tester allows you to determine if any coolant modifications are necessary. Be sure to allow a minimum of 3 hours for the coolant to decrease to a safe working temperature prior to carrying out any tests. We recommend to check your coolant level at least twice a year (once before the summer and once before the winter).
