The Novol N91470 STP Glass is a high-performance, one-component (1K) adhesive based on silyl-terminated polymer (STP) technology, specifically engineered for the direct glazing of automotive windscreens and glass panels. This 310ml cartridge provides a professional-grade, elastic bond that meets modern safety standards for structural integrity and crash resistance.

Unlike traditional polyurethane (PU) adhesives, the STP Glass formula is isocyanate-free and offers superior UV stability, making it a safer and more durable choice for both classic restorations and modern vehicle repairs.

Professional Installation Guidelines

Preparation: Remove all old adhesive residue from the frame (leaving a very thin, stable layer of old PU can actually improve adhesion). Clean both the frame and the glass ceramic border thoroughly with Novol Silicone Remover.
Priming: For structural integrity, apply a dedicated glass activator/primer to the ceramic border of the windscreen and allow it to flash off completely.
Application: Cut the plastic nozzle into a "V" shape. This creates a high, triangular bead of adhesive which ensures a 100% leak-proof seal when the glass is pressed down.
Fitting: Set the glass into position within 15 minutes of applying the adhesive. Use suction lifters for precision and apply even pressure around the perimeter.
Curing: Do not move the vehicle or slam the doors for at least 2–4 hours (depending on ambient humidity) to allow the adhesive to develop its structural bond.
