U-POL BLEND#9 is a high-performance fading solvent designed to seamlessly melt the edge of newly applied 1K or 2K clear coats and topcoats into the existing original paintwork. This specialized aerosol is the "secret weapon" for SMART repairs, allowing technicians to achieve an invisible transition between the repair area and the rest of the panel, eliminating the need for a full-panel respray.
Key Performance Features:
- Seamless Blending: Specially formulated to dissolve the overspray at the edge of the repair, allowing the new paint to "flow" into the old for a perfect edge.
- Superior Gloss Retention: Unlike generic thinners, BLEND#9 is engineered to maintain the gloss level of the clear coat, ensuring the blend remains invisible even after polishing.
- Fast Acting: Works instantly upon contact with wet clear coats or topcoats, providing immediate results.
- Easy to Use: The aerosol format allows for precise, targeted application on the blend edge without flooding the panel.
- Reduced Polishing: By creating a flat, tapered transition, it significantly reduces the amount of mechanical buffing and sanding required to finish the repair.
