- Induction Time: After mixing thoroughly, let the product sit in the cup for 10–15 minutes before spraying. This "induction period" allows the epoxy and hardener to begin their chemical reaction, ensuring a smoother flow and better film build.
- Preparation: Sand bare metal with P120–P180. Degrease twice with Novol N65503 Silicone Remover to ensure no microscopic oil residues remain.
- Wet-on-Wet (Non-Sanding): If using as a sealer, add 10–20% Novol N65521 Epoxy Thinner. Apply one smooth coat, wait 30–45 minutes (at 20°C), and apply your basecoat directly over it.
- Sanding: For high-build use, wait 12–24 hours at 20°C before sanding. If you have an oven, baking at 60°C for 45 minutes allows for sanding once the panel cools.
