Application Process of Magic Fix
- 1) Glue together.
- Preparation: Clear the surface of paint, dust, grease and oil, make sure that the area to be repaired is clean and dry. Roughen the surface with sanding paper. Wear the enclosed glove to protect your hand. Also wear eye protection f.i. Colad Safety Goggles (art.no. 5085).
- Step 1: Use a knife to cut the nozzle of the Colad Magic Fix Reinforcement Powder. Cut off the top of the Glue nozzle.
- Step 2: Apply a small amount of Colad Magic Fix Glue on one side and push the parts firmly together for a few seconds. Wait 7 seconds and ready.
- 2) Filling of cracks with Filling Powder and glue together.
- Preparation: Clear the surface of paint, dust, grease and oil, make sure that the area to be repaired is clean and dry. Roughen the surface with sanding paper. Wear the enclosed glove to protect your hand. Also wear eye protection f.i. Colad Safety Goggles (art.no. 5085).
- Step 1: Use a knife to cut the nozzle of the Colad Magic Fix Reinforcement Powder. Cut off the top of the Glue nozzle.
- Step 2: Depending on the substrate or the desired result, choose the grey or black color of the Colad Magic Fix Reinforcement Powder. Drop the appropriate amount of Colad Magic Fix Reinforcement Powder to cover the glue on the spot to be repaired or filled (hole/crack) in layers of maximum 2 mm. Make sure that the Colad Magic Fix Reinforcement Powder is evenly distributed. If necessary, use the applicator to adjust the powder shape and dosage.
- Step 3: Then, drop the Colad Magic Fix Glue on the Colad Magic Fix Reinforcement Powder until the powder no longer absorbs the Colad Magic Fix Glue. Make sure the tip of the Colad Magic Fix Glue does not bond with the Colad Magic Fix Reinforcement Powder. The Glue and the Powder form a strong, hard seal within a few seconds. It can be processed after 7 seconds. If the repair thickness is not enough, repeat step 2 + 3.
