Professional Application Tips
- Preparation: Sand the substrate with P180–P240. Ensure the surface is 100% dry and degreased. Note: Do not apply polyester products over acid-etch or wash primers.
- Mixing: Mix the filler and the dedicated liquid hardener thoroughly. Because of the aluminium content, ensure the mixture is 100% homogeneous to prevent "patchy" curing.
- Application: Use a dedicated large-bore spray gun. Apply in 2–3 medium-to-heavy coats, allowing for a 5–10 minute flash-off time between layers.
- Sanding: Once cured (approx. 2 hours at 20°C), block-sand with P180–P240 to level the panel, finishing with P320 before applying an acrylic primer.
