Ensure your paint job stands up to the flexing and vibrations of modern automotive plastics with Novol Plus 770. This 500ml additive is a specialized plasticizer designed to be mixed into 2K acrylic products - such as primers, clearcoats, and enamels - to significantly increase their flexibility and impact resistance.

Without an elasticity agent, standard rigid paints can crack, flake, or "spider-web" when applied to flexible components like bumpers, side skirts, or spoilers that experience movement or minor impacts.

Professional Mixing Strategy

The amount of Plus 770 required depends on the flexibility of the part you are painting. It should be added to the Base product (Primer or Clearcoat) before you add the hardener.

Recommended Ratios (by volume):

Flexible Parts (Standard Bumpers): Add 10% to 20% of Plus 770 to the lacquer or primer.
Highly Flexible Parts (Soft Spoilers/Trim): Add 25% to 30% of Plus 770.

Mixing Order:

Step 1: Measure your Primer/Clearcoat.
Step 2: Add Plus 770 and stir thoroughly.
Step 3: Add the Hardener based on the new total volume of the mixture (Base + Plus 770).
Step 4: Add Thinner as required for spray viscosity.

Expert Insight: Adding an elasticity agent will slightly increase the drying time of the product. Don't be tempted to "bake" the parts at higher temperatures to speed it up; let them air dry or use moderate heat (max 60°C) to ensure the plasticizer settles correctly within the paint matrix.
