Novol 1201 Polyester Spray Filler Kit (1.2kg) – High-Build Surface Perfection

The Novol 1201 Polyester Spray Filler is a professional-grade, two-component (2K) sprayable putty designed to provide an exceptionally smooth, high-build foundation for automotive paintwork. This comprehensive kit includes 1.2kg of filler, 50ml of hardener, and 80ml of Thin 880 thinner, giving you everything needed to achieve a flawless surface on large areas or complex shapes.

It is specifically engineered to fill deep sanding marks, minor irregularities, and "pinholes" that traditional spreadable putties might miss, significantly reducing the manual labor required for block sanding.

Professional Application Strategy

The Novol 1201 Spray Filler is best applied using a spray gun with a large nozzle (typically 2.0mm to 2.5mm).

Application Steps:

Preparation: Clean and degrease the surface. Sand with P180–P240 grit.
Mixing: Mix the filler and hardener thoroughly. Only then add the thinner to reach the desired spray consistency.
Layers: Apply 2 to 3 layers, allowing for a 5–10 minute flash-off between coats.
Sanding: Once fully cured, begin dry sanding with P180–P240 and finish with P320 before moving to primer.

Important Note: Spray filler is porous by nature. It must always be sealed with an acrylic primer (like Novol Protect 330/390) before applying your final basecoat or topcoat to prevent moisture absorption and ensure paint adhesion.
