Novol Unisoft - Soft Polyester Putty (250g) – Professional-Grade Easy-Sanding Filler
Achieve a smooth, contoured finish with Novol Unisoft, a premium Soft Polyester Putty designed for both professional automotive refinishing and high-quality DIY repairs. This 250g unit is the perfect size for small-to-medium repairs, providing a creamy consistency that makes application effortless even on complex body lines.
As a "Soft" putty, Unisoft is specifically engineered to be extremely easy to sand, significantly reducing the labor required to achieve a perfectly level surface before priming.
Key Features & Benefits:
- High Elasticity: Formulated to remain flexible, making it ideal for large surfaces or areas subject to vibration and thermal expansion.
- Superior Sanding Properties: Soft resin technology allows for rapid manual or machine sanding without clogging the sandpaper.
- Excellent Adhesion: Bonds powerfully to various substrates, including steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, wood, and glass-fiber reinforced plastics (GRP).
- Creamy Consistency: Spreads smoothly with minimal effort, reducing the risk of air pockets or "pinholes" in the finished layer.
- Balanced Thermal Resistance: Maintains its integrity and adhesion even during the heat cycles of a spray booth or engine bay.
Application Mastery
Novol Unisoft is a versatile "all-rounder." While it has excellent filling properties, its primary strength lies in its finishing capabilities. It can be used as a standalone filler for minor dents or as a secondary "refining" layer over high-strength fillers like Novol Fiber Micro.
Application Steps:
- Preparation: Clean and degrease the surface. Sand with P80–P120 grit for mechanical adhesion.
- Mixing: Mix the putty with the provided red hardener thoroughly until the color is completely uniform.
- Apply: Use a spreader to apply in layers. Its "soft" nature allows it to be feathered out to a paper-thin edge.
- Sanding: Begin sanding with P120–P150 and finish with P240 for a paint-ready surface.
Pro Tip: Avoid over-dosing the hardener! Adding more than 3% hardener won't make it dry faster; instead, it can cause "bleeding" or discoloration in your final paint finish.
