All JURATEK brake discs are ECE R90 approved which establishes a common minimum standard of braking performance, product integrity and manufactured quality for replacement braking systems across Europe to ensure optimal safety and driving comfort. As many modern cars are fitted with alloy wheels, a rusty brake disc can be quite unsightly. To combat this, JURATEK have applied an Anti-Corrosive paint to the non-braking surface of all brake discs across the range.

Not all brake discs listed are suitable for the specific model of your vehicle. Two vehicles of the same year and engine size may require different types of brake discs or even additional discs on the rear axle in place of standard drums. These differences may be due to what factory the vehicle was built in or what extra features it has such as increased engine power. The best way to ensure you get the correct brake discs check the diameter and fitment position of the brake discs already fitted. Have you noticed an increase in stopping distance in your vehicle? This may be due to a worn brake disc. A measurement can be taken of the current disc width using a Micrometer on every 1/8th of a rotation to determine if your disc has exceeded the minimum required thickness. The minimum requirement is usually stamped on a non-wearing area of the disc. As driving characteristics vary between each individual, we recommend that discs be inspected every 12,000km. Brake discs must be replaced in pairs to avoid an imbalance in braking performance.

This is a pair of discs (2 discs). In any case brake discs should always be changed in pairs, if you only change 1 disc there will be a braking imbalance rendering your braking unsafe. Please always change discs in pairs.
