Need Different Blades?

Maybe your car does not have the conventional type blades? If so dont worry, we still probably have the blades you need, Click Here

What Wiper Blades do I need?

There are 2 main types of wiper blades on the market at the minute, conventional Wipers, also called traditional wipers, these are the most common type of wiper blade on the market today. They consist of a metal frame that serves as a mount for the actual wiper. The wiper is a strip made from either standard rubber or halogen-hardened rubber. They are affordable and very effective. Found on the majority of vehicles on the road today. Beam-style Wipers known as beam blades, flat blades or beam-style blades. Beam blades are more expensive but look more elegant. They also perform better and last longer than traditional windshield wipers. These are being fitted to all new cars are will soon phase out the traditional style car wiper blade

How do I change my wiper blades?

Most wipers come with fitting instructions if you check inside of the box. They are very simple to fit in most cases but there is plenty of help online such as videos. We also stock other high quality Wiper brands such as KAST, Valeo, Trico and Bremen Vision.

Is it sufficient to only replace the driver's side wiper?

It is recommended to replace the driver’s side and passenger’s side wipers at the same time for improved vision and increased safety. Don't forget to replace the rear window wipers as well!

How hard is it to change my wiper blades?

It's extremely easy to change your wiper blades - in fact it’s one of the simplest motoring DIY jobs you can tackle yourself. For most vehicles, wipers can be changed in a matter of minutes with many wiper blades allowing for an easy one-step installation. Some wiper systems require the use of adapters and this is a little more complex however the process is still very straightforward and can be completed properly by following the instructions.

Do I need to clean my windscreen before installing new wipers?

Dirty windscreens are a common cause for poor wiper performance even if the wipers are still in good shape. Some kinds of contamination, such as tree sap, can destroy the wiping element quite quickly. Clean your windscreen regularly with a good quality car shampoo or glass cleaner to remove tar and film build up.

How long do new wipers last?

A new set of wiper blades will normally last approximately 6 to 12 months in average weather conditions and with average use. Wiper blades are exposed to the weather and to debris in the environment and will degrade faster during harsher conditions and very frequent use.
