Question 1

Heated Mirror Glass

Accepted Answer

This mirror glass is heated and incorporates a heating element attached to the back of the glass. Usually 2 electrical pins are visible on the backing plate and 2 wires from the mirror body are connected to these. This heated mirror glass can also be used with non-heated mirrors.

Question 2

Without Auto-Dim

Accepted Answer

Auto-dim or Electrochromic mirrors automatically dim when headlights shine onto the mirror's surface. This reduces the discomfort and glare for the driver. This mirror glass does not include this feature. If your vehicle has Auto-Dim Mirrors this mirror glass will fit your vehicle but the Auto-dim function will not be available.

Question 3

Blind Spot Warning

Accepted Answer

The Blind Spot Warning system monitors the space around your vehicle. If a vehicle is detected in the car's blind spot an indicator light is illuminated in the mirror glass. This mirror includes this safety feature. Please check to ensure your mirror also includes this feature before purchasing. This mirror can also be used on vehicles without a Blind Spot Warning system but this safety feature will not be available.

Question 4

Fitting Position: Right

Accepted Answer

When referring to left or right, it's a global industry standard that left and right is referred to from the point of view of sitting in the car looking forward. This fits on the right side of the vehicle.
