Before fitting, hold the deflector up to the door frame of your car to ensure it is the correct shape and size. Some wind deflectors are only designed to fit cars that have a certain number of doors as this impacts the length of the deflector e.g. 3-door vehicles have longer doors than saloons or hatchbacks. In most cases, these deflectors will be a perfect fit for your window channel. There may be strips of double-sided adhesive along the top of the deflector to further secure it in place, simply peel the protecting top layer off the adhesive and proceed to regular installation. Any models that require fitting clips will have the clips included. We also recommend cleaning the window channel to remove any dirt or debris with a screwdriver or similar utensils before attempting the installation.

How do I fit wind deflectors on my car?

Wind deflectors are very easy to fit and don't require any specialist tools. We've made an easy fitting guide for you to follow when fitting your wind deflectors to ensure a hassle-free installation. In some cases, additional clips may be included with in-channel deflectors depending on what model of vehicle you have. Clips secure the deflectors in place when the window channel is too wide for the deflectors to have a snug fit. If your deflectors didn’t come with clips, do not worry; your vehicle does not require them. After successful installation of your new wind deflectors, we recommend leaving your windows in the closed position for at least 24 hours to allow the rubber seals to mould around the deflectors.
