First Run: To test the liquid quality, simply turn on the device with the top button, similar to a pen. Remove the lower cover and place the tester's tip (two pins) in the brake fluid reservoir.

Reading Device Indications:

Green LED: Brake fluid is water-free.
Yellow LED: Less than 1% water in the system.
Two yellow LEDs: 2% water - Content within normal limits.
Red LED: 3% water - Fluid replacement recommended. Up to half the effective braking system!
Two red LEDs: More than 4% water - Brake fluid must be changed ASAP!

Maintenance:

Replace the battery if the green LED doesn't light up.
Flashing red LEDs indicate the need to replace the battery.
Requires 1 AAA battery (not included).
Clean the measuring pins under running water after each use.
