Question 6

Yakima Whispbar vs Thule

Accepted Answer

The sleek, wing-like structure is the signature of Yakima Whispbar. But the beauty of Whispbar isn't
only skin deep. The design comes from some of the most aerodynamic and quiet
shapes that occur in nature.

Over ten years of research in automotive design and aerodynamics has led to the construction
of a streamline aerofoil. The unique form of Whispbar features PerformaRidge and PerformaFill
technology that achieves the most outstanding performance capabilities of any roof rack system
to date by reducing drag and noise to nearly zero. The result is a quiet, fuel-efficient ride, and
a rack that lasts for years and exceeds the most discerning standards.
