Application Best Practices
- Preparation is Key: Clean the surface with a high-quality degreaser. If painting over an existing finish, sand with P400-P600 grit paper for mechanical adhesion.
- Shake It Up: Even though there is no button to press, you must shake the can for at least 3 minutes after the mixing balls start rattling to ensure the 2K components are perfectly blended.
- Distance: Spray from a distance of 20-25 cm.
- Flash-off: Apply 2 layers. Wait about 5 minutes between coats to allow the solvents to escape.
- Clean the Valve: After your project, turn the can upside down and spray for a few seconds until the spray is clear. This is vital for 2K products to ensure the nozzle remains reusable.
