Application Guidelines
- Surface Prep: Clean and degrease the target area thoroughly. Sand primed surfaces wet with P600-P800 grit or dry with P400-P600 grit paper. Clean and dry once complete.
- Primer: Apply an appropriate etch or high-build grey primer prior to painting if working over bare metal, filler, or scuffed factory finishes.
- Spraying: Shake the aerosol can for at least 2 minutes prior to spraying. Hold the can roughly 25 cm from the target and apply 1-2 even coats, waiting 20-30 minutes between coats.
- Clear Coat: While the paint dries to a metallic finish, applying a clear lacquer topcoat after curing provides maximum gloss depth, petrol resistance, and UV protection.
