Dry Charge Combi Pack Batteries

Accepted Answer

Batteries can be produced as Wet Charged or Dry Charged. With Dry Charged betteries, the battery is built, charged, washed, dried, sealed and shipped without the electrolyte; and can be stored for up to 18 months. When the battery is put into service, the addition of the electrolyte and charging is required, resulting in a much longer shelf life. Motorcycle batteries are typically dry charged batteries. All Combi-Packs are supplied with 1 Dry Charged Battery and 1 Acid Pack.

When you have a weak battery, your bike ends up putting additional stress on healthy parts. These parts can malfunction because they’re drawing excessive voltage to compensate for the lack of battery power. Watch out for signs like warning lights flickering, waek or nonfunctioning lights and horn and noticeably slower cranking (initial starting).
