Overview

Chemical Guys HydroLeather Ceramic Leather Protective Coating (16oz)

Shield your vehicle’s fine interior upholstery against liquid spills, body oils, harsh UV rays, and dreaded dye transfer with Chemical Guys HydroLeather. Infused with durable SiO2 ceramic polymers, this advanced spray coating creates an invisible, hydrophobic barrier across genuine and synthetic leather - locking out stains while preserving the soft, supple feel and factory-fresh matte appearance of your cabin.

Key Features:

Ceramic Spill & Stain Defense: Repels liquids, coffee, soda, sweat, and food spills on contact, causing liquids to bead up so they can be wiped away effortlessly before staining.
Resists Denim Dye Transfer: Forms a durable microscopic barrier that helps stop dark denim and blue jean dyes from penetrating and permanently staining light-colored leather.
True Factory-Fresh Matte Finish: Dries completely non-greasy, non-oily, and non-slippery - restoring the original showroom look and feel without artificial gloss or glare.
Advanced UV Sun Protection: Guards against intense heat and ultraviolet radiation that lead to drying, fading, stiffness, and premature cracking.
Universal Interior Versatility: Safe and effective on genuine smooth leather, sealed leather, faux leather, vegan leather, and interior vinyl door trim.

How to Use for Best Results:

Prep the Leather: Clean the surface thoroughly using a dedicated leather cleaner (such as Chemical Guys Leather Cleaner) to remove dirt, body oils, and residues. Let dry completely.
Apply Coating: Shake bottle well. Mist HydroLeather directly onto a clean microfiber applicator pad or folded microfiber towel (avoid spraying directly onto perforated seats to prevent soaking internal foam).
Spread Evenly: Work the coating into the leather upholstery using cross-hatch or overlapping circular motions.
Buff & Cure: Gently wipe away any excess product with a clean, dry microfiber towel. Allow 2 to 3 hours of cure time away from moisture and heavy use for maximum ceramic bonding.

Pro Tip: For light leather interiors (white, cream, or beige), apply an extra layer along high-wear contact zones - such as driver seat side bolsters and steering wheels - to create maximum resistance against jean dye transfer.
