Overview

Wood Splitting Drill Bit 45mm - Set of 3

Wood Splitting Drill Bit Set is a heavy-duty power tool attachment designed to transform a standard electric drill or impact driver into a high-efficiency log splitter. This 45mm cone-style bit utilizes a steep-thread screw geometry to penetrate and wedge wood fibers apart, significantly reducing the physical effort required compared to a traditional axe or maul.

Key Features:

Bit Diameter: 45 mm (the optimal width for splitting medium to big firewood logs).
Material: High-Carbon Steel (HCS). The bit is forged and heat-treated for high hardness and wear resistance, ensuring the threads do not dull after repeated contact with tough wood knots.
Coating: Anti-friction Black Oxide or Titanium coating (depending on specific batch). This reduces heat buildup and prevents the bit from seizing or "binding" inside green or resinous wood.
Cone Geometry: Sharp pointed tip with a deep, coarse-thread spiral. The "screw" design pulls the bit into the log automatically, using the drill's torque to provide the splitting force.

Included Adapter Set:

This set is designed for maximum tool compatibility, including two interchangeable shanks that screw into the base of the 45mm cone:
