Reduced viscosity and high boiling point
Discs, calipers, pads and brake master cylinders are fundamental elements in a braking system, but they run the risk of being useless without the fulcrum of the entire system: brake fluid. The component is generally checked occasionally and topped off when needed instead of being changed at the expiry recommended by the manufacturer.
The formation of a Vapour Lock
A habit like this facilitates the formation of a Vapour Lock, in other words, the formation of vapour bubbles due to the brake fluid boiling which, taking the place of the normal fluid, are compressed, sending the pedal to the floor (making the pedal mushy). This phenomenon is primarily due to the porosity of the braking circuit hoses: in fact, over time they make the fluid absorb the damp, drastically reducing the boiling point. The result is lower braking efficiency.

Particularly high boiling point and viscosity lower than required. It is also suitable for vehicles with ABS.
