Professional Blending Strategy

- Preparation: Sand the blend area (the old paint surrounding your repair) with a very fine abrasive like P2000–P3000 or a grey scuff pad. Clean and degrease.
- Paint Application: Apply your clearcoat or topcoat, extending slightly past the repair zone but staying within the sanded area.
- The Fade-Out: Immediately after the final coat of paint, spray a very light mist of Thin 890 only over the "dry" overspray at the very edge of the new paint.
- Technique: Use 1 to 2 quick passes from a distance of 25–30 cm. Do not "flood" the area, or the paint may run.
