Project GTi: Graphics With Darran O'Hara

We needed some MicksGarage branding on the Project GTi so we headed down to see race car graphics specialist Darran O'Hara. We chose to work with Darran for a couple of reasons, One being he supplies a lot of the graphics for the MicksGarage Irish Touring Car grid and two, Darran actually works with you to come up with a design that really fits the brief and was happy for us to help out and get stuck in with the whole process. We didn't want to go too wild for now, seeing as the car will remain virtually standard, for the next few months at least. Between us, we came up with a simple design which ties in with the black wheels on the car and gives a nod to the original graphics found on the mk1 Golf GTi. We shot a bit of footage while we were getting the graphics done. Here's the video: Vehicle graphics in general are always going to divide opinion and our Project GTi will be no different. Until we get some decent wheels on the car and sort that ride height out it's never going to look quite right but we'd be interested in hearing your feedback nonetheless!
