We are now into our 5th instalment of Stars and their car. Last week we had radio DJ Dave Moore answer our car questions. Once again thanks for those that liked and shared the post on social media. Now, this week we have the one and only Mario Rosenstock in the hot seat. This week we’ve changed around some of the questions as we recently found out that Mario never learnt to drive. If you haven’t seen our first few posts here is a little bit of background info on the series. This series will feature some of Ireland biggest sporting personalities alongside tv and radio presenters alike. This fun motoring related Q&A will give you the audience a great insight into some of the sporting stars you watch week in week out, not forgetting the presenting you watch and listen to on a daily basis. The goal of the series is to donate as much money as possible to our partner charity that is BUMBLEance. For those of you who have never heard of BUMBLEance , it is Irelands only private ambulance service dedicated to helping sick children. It's a brilliant cause that we love helping out. Each post we are putting up in the series will have a donation attached to it on behalf of the participants for the charity. We’d just like to thank all those who have taken part, taking the time out of their busy schedules to help a great cause.
We are also donating a percentage of the profits from our great value range of creative kids headphones. For every pair, we sell we will be donating a percentage of the profits, so this is a great opportunity to do your bit for charity while picking up a bargain stocking stuffer in the process.
Mario Rosenstock
Bio:
From Television to radio, to the concert hall Mario Rosenstock has had an illustrious career so far. Some of you might remember a Dr O’Hanlon who featured on Glenroe back in the 1990’s. If you were not aware at the time that was, in fact, Mario Rosenstock. Beginning his career on the show he progressed from actor to impersonator. His ever popular gift grub segment on the Ian Dempsey breakfast show was the beginning of this, all the way back in 1999. This segment transitioned from a radio segment into a CD of different alter egos Mario created and mastered. From Roy Keane to Miriam O’Callaghan, Mario Rosenstock has impersonated a host of Irish stars. One of our personal favourites is his impression of Vincent Browne, the tv3 analyst. Although Mario doesn’t drive we still wanted to include him as we expected his answers to be very amusing, which we were right about.
