Alloys can change the look of a car completely, making it look more expensive than it actually is. So why is it that a lot of the time consumers do not use the appropriate products to bring their alloys back to life. From brake dust to tar build up alloy wheels take a beating. Thankfully Autoglym<\/a> have a wide range of products that can really make your alloys look factory fresh once again! There are several products we recommend using together to help get the best possible finish. We’ll start to by using a power hose to dislodge the major contaminants on the alloys, giving us a much cleaner canvas to work with. Start from the top of the alloy and work your way to the bottom letting the dirt runoff. You can now move on to the fun part of applying the different Autoglym products.<\/p>\n

1. Custom Wheel Cleaner<\/a>: Start with Autoglym's custom wheel cleaner, applying it from the bottom up covering the wheel completely. Using a sponge or alloy brush agitate the solution spending time on the areas that have a lot of dirt baked in.  After you have let it sit for a few minutes, you can rinse off the solution making sure that none of it is left on the alloy. Repeat this process on the other three wheels.<\/p>\n

\"\"2. Autoglym Magma<\/a>: Following on from the wheel cleaner, you can move onto using Magma, a brilliant product that eliminates the presence of iron on the wheels and around the arches. This product is incredibly satisfying to watch. Spray the solution onto the wheels and allow it to sit for 5 minutes. Magma will react to the presence of any iron particles, turning red as it loosens them. With a damp sponge agitate the wheel, rinsing off any Magma that is still left over.<\/p>\n

\"\"3. High Performance Tyre Gel<\/a>: We’ve spent so much time on the alloys themselves that we nearly forgot about the tyres. Our favourite product we like to use to get that shiny slick look is Autoglyms tyre gel. Simply apply to a sponge then rub onto the rubber of the tyre letting it set. You can wipe off any excess if you don’t want the finish to be too shiny.<\/p>\n

4. Wheel Protector<\/a>: The fourth and final step is to seal all your hard work in! Making sure your wheels are now spotless and dry spray the wheel protector onto the alloy letting it sit for 60-90 minutes. The longer you leave it the better the finish. If there is any excess just use a microfibre cloth to remove it from the alloy.  Using this product will protect your wheels for a much longer period of time.<\/p>\n

Other Products:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
