When I started writing this blog I was just going post the
latest video from Stephen Brooks, but after i'd re-visited his
Vimeo page I thought i'd turn it into a mini feature. If you haven't seen any of his films then you're missing out. Stephen Brooks is one of the most talented amature film makers i've come across and is responsible for some of the most fantastically filmed and edited Drifting and Car Culture videos of recent years. He has a an amazing ability to match the action in the visual to the events in the audio track, something which is by no means easy.
The first video we're going to show you is a short showcase of some of Stephens work from 2011 which includes excerps from the various events and photoshoots from last year:

The 2nd video is titled Players, which is one of the largest car shows of its kind in the UK. Brilliant panning camera shots and such imaginitive audio/visual editing make this static display literally jump off the screen:

Still my personal favourite video and one i've posted here in the past. The whole drifting scene really isn't my thing but you've gotta love the 600bhp + cars. Check out 2:52 onwards is it just fluke that the rear wheels on this black and orange S15 Silvia are locking perfectly in time with the music? I doubt it. (yes i know i'm a geek!) This video rocks!
