We’re slowly expanding our range here at MicksGarage and something we have wanted to get into for a while now is
paints and body repair accessories. It makes sense really, since we do offer a range of
body panels,
wing mirrors,
grilles, etc. most of which needs to be sprayed before fitment. And if the DIYer in you is up to the job, we have you covered!
The
colour matched paints range is based on Holts’ Paint Match Pro range which covers over 8,000 colour codes. Unlike the traditional custom mixed paints these are all mixed by high tech 25th century terminator style robots, which reduces the chance of human error and ensures the customer gets the right colour! They are split by make on the website, but to buy the correct paint you’ll need the colour code from your car (a blog post on this is coming soon).
Also available we have a range of
primers and lacquers to complement the above paints range. There is also a s
pecialist paints range which includes high temperature paint for brake callipers, engines, etc. as well as other random goodies like matte, gold, alloy wheel, chrome and plastic paints plus many others. In terms of
paint preparation we will have a range of light body repair tools like dent pullers but also a range of fillers and sand papers. We are working on expanding this product offering and hope to have the full range available in the next week!
