2015 Blog Awards the team bagged Silver in the automotive category, coming second only to
The AA
The awards ceremony was a spectacular affair held at the Tivoli theatre in Dublin.
Shortlisted blogs were put to the public vote within their respective categories, finalists were then selected, which were judged by a panel of the blogging glitterati.
On winning the award, MicksGarage Marketing manager John Smyth had this to say:
We tore down our old blog and completely started from scratch in March of this year so to be here now after just a few months collecting this award really is an incredible achievement and testament to the hard work and passion the guys here have for what they do. The quality and variety of content on the blog really is incredible and what's more, it's all really useful stuff, that's the whole point! Hopefully we'll be back here again next year fighting for Gold!
Ashville Media who organised the awards really went to town and made the event itself something special. Instead of your typical awards ceremony there was a 1920's burlesque theme - which the 500 strong crowd really embraced - some more so than others! Here's a few photo's from the evening:
