MicksGarage Irish Amateur Drift Championship: Round 1 Image Gallery

Round one of the brand new and highly anticipated MicksGarage Irish Amateur Drift Championship kicked off at Mondello Park last weekend. The weather was atrocious but the show had to go on! Our intrepid snapper Brian Walsh braved the elements to capture all the action. Fighting off much more powerful and more expensive machinery was Lee Scott, the eventual winner in his E46 BMW, Dean Crozier took second place in his R32 Skyline, with Mark McBurney in third and Jeff Nelson in 4th. All of the Top 4 drivers will now go on to take part in the Semi Pro event at Round 1 of the Irish Drift Championship Over the course of the championship we'll be bringing you loads of cool stuff - we'll have more great image galleries from each round, car & driver features from each round, kicking off with a mini feature on Shea Rogers 1000bhp Supra! We'll also have competitions, giveaways and hopefully some cool in-car videos so watch this space!
