We're excited to announce that MicksGarage will be sponsoring the 2016 Irish Drift Championship and the brand new MicksGarage Irish Amateur Drift Championship which will now act as the official feeder series of the IDC Pro Championship.
The new amateur series will focus on driver development and the equalisation of machinery, this 4 round championship will give up-and-coming drivers a platform to improve their talent and gain recognition. During the season, drivers placed in the top 4 of the championship may also compete at IDC Pro Championship rounds. The
top 10 drivers in the championship (after all 4 rounds) will earn IDC Semi-Pro licenses and compete at The Final Fight. With rules and regulations designed to level the playing-field, the IADC will now become the ultimate proving-ground for future IDC superstars!
As part of the sponsorship package the winner of the MicksGarage Irish Amateur Drift Championship will also receive the following:
- €2500 - Cash! Become the official MicksGarage.com Semi-Pro driver for 2017
- €600 - Teng Tool Box + Tools
- €800 - Free entry for all of IDC Semi-Pro 2017

- Round 1 - Mondello Park : April 3rd (Layout A)
- Round 2 - Mondello Park : May 29th (Layout B)
- Round 3 - Mondello Park : July 10th (Layout C)
- Round 4 - Mondello Park : September 10th (Layout D)
