Valentines day. A day that most blokes dread and most girls long for, or maybe that's just a terribly sexist attitude that's not based on fact or research.
Whatever your attitude toward Valentines, it is in most cases expected of you to 'get something' for your other half and to not do so implies that you no longer care and your relationship is dead - again an opinion not based on fact or research of any sort.
So the big question is, what do you get? and is the amount you spend directly proportionate to the amount you love your partner? or does it come down to other things like thought and effort and romanticism?
Valentines gifts can range from the good old reliable card (extra brownie points if you and/or your kids have made your own - we particularly like these Breaking Bad inspired cards)
..to extravagant jewelry, holidays, expensive restaurants or even the really pricey stuff like Italian Medieval Castles and North Pole Dog Sled Expeditions-

You might be thinking we're completely mad and if you arrived home with this instead of a romantic meal for 2 that you'd be spending the night on the couch.
Let me sell it to you...
If your other half is up for trying something a bit different, something exciting, something completely new, that they'll never have experienced before then this is it!....... plus it's just absolutely great craic. Have a look at the video, that daft grin on my face is genuine!
Now, I've done supercar experiences, rally schools and even done a bit of racing but I can honestly say none have left the same impression as the 4x4 course. Lapping a race track in a 400hp Ferrari ought to be more exciting than driving an old LandRover......but it wasn't. The only thing I can attribute that to is that what you undertake on the 4x4 course is so completely alien. The sensation of driving over the edge of what feels like a cliff into pool of murky water that comes up over the windscreen is one that cant really be described....
it's just brilliant, we urge you, go and have a go!....and if your other half really isn't buying into it.....go yourself, you won't regret it!!!
