Mobile phone usage while driving is something that is being cracked down on worldwide. It is currently one of the biggest attributing factors of road deaths. From the 1st of May in Ireland new legislation was passed into law which means people caught texting on their phones will be subject to hefty fines and a possible court appearance.Volkswagen have taken a different approach to show a group of unsuspecting young people just how distracting checking a text message while driving can be.
It's highlighting the point that it only takes a few seconds of distraction for accidents to happen. Don't let yourself be distracted, keep your eyes on the road! No life is worth losing over a text message.
