I just stumbled across this series of videos whilst looking at some stuff from the excellent
Chris Harris On Cars Series on YouTube. Chris Harris is a Journalist, racer and road tester for
Evo Magazine. This series of videos is pretty old now, hence the poor quality but more than any other footage i've seen of journo's and celebs getting strapped into F1 cars it gives a proper sensation of just how incredibly savage the performance of these cars is and how difficult they are to drive. Bearing in mind Chris Harris is a fairly accomplished racing driver and spends his days testing the likes of Pagani Zondas and Ferrari 458's he still manages to spin the thing twice.
The videos are quite long but well worth watching if you have some time on your hands. There's excellent insight and comment from Martin Brundle throughout as well. The actual driving starts at the end of the 1st video if you want to jump straight to it.
