The car industry is very much a male dominated area, with most cars designed, developed and marketed to and by a male audience. Apart from a few companies looking to bend the rules slightly, like electric cars being marketed to mums in the early 00's or
Chrysler's Dodge LaFemme in the 50's (which came in feminine Sapphire White and Heather Rose, along with a storage place for the matching purse and rain hat) there has been very few manufacturers who've been successful.

That is until now perhaps. Honda have decided to dabble it's toes in the creation of a 'female friendly' car. Their Fit She's model is aiming to capture the female car buyer by creating a vehicle with attributes that only a girl would be attracted to.
The colour scheme is inspired by shades of eye shadow such as pink and brown, while the name itself, which of course appears on the car, has a heart instead of an apostrophe on the She's! The windscreen helps prevent wrinkles by minimising the effect of ultraviolet rays!
Inside the stitching on the seats and steering wheel cover are in 'hot pink' as are all the rims on the dashboard and the pink keyless entry device. But the best of all is the 'Plasmacluster' air con system, which boldly claims it can improve a drivers skin quality. Revolutionary stuff - All sounds like an April Fool's gag, but it's actually serious!

Designers say they are going for the 'Adult cute' look, whatever that means. Perhaps it's a term used only in Japan, where the car is currently only available. With a starting price of approximately €13,700 (£10,500) this could be a hit on this side of the world as well, however it's hard to think it wouldn't be laughed off the roads!
