So week 4 I think it is and there was a good reception to my blog last week. An achievement of sorts today, I knew a part by its product code. A stark realisation that my glossary of terms is about as good as Trapattoni’s English. With Manuela on my side, I’ve been limited to learning on the fly.
In the interest of giving, I’ve put together a list of terms I’m already struggling to identify with:
o My Version
Overalls - Jeans, I would call dungarees – and yes I wore them a few times to work in a previous life… As dungarees.
o The Auto Version
Overalls – What you use to wipe your hands in
o My Version
Youth – An underage footballer
o The Auto Version
Ute – A car down under a la Home and Away. See Alf Stewart
o My Version
Body Paint – I once was covered in it at a party in Ibiza – it glowed in the dark. Helped me find my way home
o The Auto Version
Body Paint – Essentially, mascara for cars
o My Version
A Grill – For cooking a burger
o The Auto Version
A Grill – A BMW’s smile
I’m fitting in well as you can probably gather. The skinny jeans today haven’t gone down too bad either. Still a bit disappointed I didn’t get to Mondelo for the Off Road driving. If you ain’t seen our snippets yet, check this bad boy out. Worth watching for the excited reaction of our answer to Troy McClure (Rob), who has been seen in driving demo videos such as, Road Chippings – the demise of the 90’s car paint job and Ford Escort Cosworth – Do Car’s come any better?
If like me, you want to treat yourself to this on Valentines Day, you can grab yours here for less than €100, use that spare €1 to get yourself to the dollar shave club – as this video shows you will not be disappointed!
