How do I select the correct parts for my car?

There are two fundamental ways to search for car parts:

  • Main Menu
  • Search

  • Main Menu
  • To select the correct part for your vehicle you can use the Car Parts section on the main menu from the top of every page. In most cases we will need you to identify your vehicle to ensure that you get the correct part for your car. You can either enter your vehicle registration number and click Go or if you do not know your registration number, select the make, base model, model and engine from the drop down lists and click on Find Products. The website will then become tailored to only show the correct parts for your car. You can also enter your vehicle information from the homepage prior to selecting a part. This will tailor our website to only show the correct parts for your car.


  • Search
  • You can browse our massive range by entering the part you are looking for into the search box. If you know the OE (Original Equipment) number of the part, select the Search By OE Number tab above the search box and enter the number.

    How do I order parts from MicksGarage?

    MicksGarage is an online business only. All orders must be made through our website. If you have any questions or concerns about any of our products please do not hesitate to contact us before you make your purchase. Our office hours are 9am – 5:30pm, 7 days a week.     Can I cancel my order?

    Should you wish to cancel an order please contact us immediately. Note: We endeavour to same-day ship orders received. If your order has left our depot, it cannot be cancelled. Click here to find all our contact information.

    What if the ordered item is out of stock?

    MicksGarage strive to ensure that we have every listed car part and accessory in stock. However if an ordered item is out of stock we will contact you immediately to inform you.

    What is the delivery policy?

    As part of our commitment to you the customer, MicksGarage only use recognised couriers such as An Post & Royal Mail to ensure the prompt and safe delivery of all orders. MicksGarage endeavour to complete and dispatch orders placed online before 4pm for delivery within 2 working days and in most cases the delivery is the following day. Deliveries will be to the indicated shipping address and will be made during business hours. Specific delivery times cannot be confirmed. If the courier is unable to find someone to accept the delivery but is able to find the correct address, a calling card will be left there for the recipient to contact the courier to arrange a pick up or agree a new delivery time or alternative location.

    MicksGarage reserves the right to ship the order in multiple shipments and with any shipping method service deemed appropriate. This will not affect the delivery timeframe.

    Please note: Due to the fragile nature of some products such as bonnets, wings and bumpers we use specialist couriers to ship these in the Republic of Ireland only.

    Can I collect my order?

    If you would like to collect your order simply place your order as normal online and get in contact with us via phone, chat or email stating that you would like to collect it. Should there be any delivery charges we will refund for these as soon as we set your order to collection instead of delivery. Click here to find out more information about delivery

    Do I get a guarantee with the product?

    A limited one year warranty is provided by MicksGarage and is applied to all our automotive parts, and warrant these parts to be free from defects in workmanship and material. Liability will under no circumstances exceed the amount of its original sale or the replacement of the defective merchandise.

    MicksGarage warranty does not cover merchandise failure due to abuse, misuse, improper installation, improper maintenance, improper and unauthorised repairs, alterations or modification.

    Furthermore, this warranty does not cover any freight charges, the cost of parts removal, consequential or subsequent damages, or normal wear and tear.

    What if an item arrived damaged?

    You must ensure that the item has arrived in good condition when signing for the order, if an item arrives damaged then do not sign for the order. No damage claims will be entertained 3 days after delivery.

    How to I pay for parts?

    We accept the following payment cards: Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Solo, MasterCard and One4all Cards. We also accept PayPal payments. However, please note that voucher codes cannot be used in conjunction with any PayPal payment.

    Is MicksGarage VAT-registered?

    MicksGarage is VAT registered in Ireland. All product prices are inclusive of VAT at the applicable country rate. The VAT rate in Ireland is 23% and 20% in the United Kingdom. If you require a VAT invoice please contact us via email at: info@micksgarage.com.

    How does MicksGarage prevent fraud?

    To ensure that credit card details are correct, MicksGarage will crosscheck your credit/debit card details with the bank to ensure that the billing address matches the credit/debit number. All personal details are transmitted to Realex Payments. This transmission is 128-bit-encrypted XML and is not human-readable.

    Are MicksGarage' parts new or second-hand?

    MicksGarage car parts and accessories are brand new and have never been used. However, the brake callipers and alternators we supply have been professionally refurbished.

    Does MicksGarage sell colour-coded parts?

    Replacement colour coded parts will need to be painted to match the colour code. Some of our parts may be primed or painted and this will be clearly stated in the description or title of the product. We also have a vast range of Car Specific Paints here.

    MicksGarage supply both spurious and Original Equipment (OE) parts. We ensure that all our spurious parts are of matching quality to OE parts.

    Are the door mirrors the complete part?

    Door mirrors, also known as wing mirrors are sold in 3 different variations; mirror glass, covers and the complete unit which contains both the mirror glass and cover. This will be clearly stated in the product description or title.

    Does MicksGarage supply parts for imports or LH vehicles?

    Unless otherwise specified, MicksGarage do not supply parts for imports or left hand drive vehicles.

    How do I know if I am buying one or multiple products?

    The majority of our products are sold as individually, however in the case of some parts such as brake discs or pads they are sold in pairs or sets. This will be clearly stated either in the product description or title.

    What does Date Limitation mean?

    Due to car manufacturers releasing newer versions of models throughout the year some parts may only fit a particular model up until a specified time period. This date refers to the date that the vehicle was assembled. For example, if the date limitation is 20/06/2014 then that part will fit that model of car you have selected up until the 20/06/2014 version. You can find this information in your cars logbook.

    What Does Quantity mean in the product description?

    Quantity or quantity required refers to the number of that item your car has or requires. In the case of spark plugs, the typical quantity required is 4. It does not refer to the quantity of the product.

    Is there a real Mick?

    Why yes! There is a real Mick. He started the business in 2004, enjoys the smell of petrol, drives a 1962 Chevrolet Camaro and has a dog named Gunter! He is rarely seen, but when he is, he is said to be wearing nothing but an oily boiler suit with the name ‘Champ’ stitched into the back.
