First time ever to change the brake pads on the rear axle of a Scenic II. Without the proper wind back tool it is impossible to be done. I spent nearly 2 days, trying, and then bought the right tool, it went like nothing, less thank 30 mins per wheel. The pads were a perfect fit, correct design and easy to fit, once the piston was wound back. Piston is a rotating one, and needs to be rotated and pushed at the same time. Also, the emergency handbrake release needs to be found (boot) and operated, to avoid damage to the ECU (yes, there is one, specific for the electronic handbrake) and calipers. Now, the car is running like a charm again, and I know what to do, when I need to do it again.
